Parents’ Letter to The Governor About Education Funding

If your parents want to show their concern over the budget cuts being made to public education in California, please have them send a copy of this letter to the governor in Sacramento. Parents can print out a copy of one of these letters, sign it, and mail it.
If you would like to get extra credit for them doing this, please do the following:
1. print out a copy of one of the letters
2. have a parent sign it (in blue or black pen)
3. bring the signed letter (and a postage stamp) to class on Thursday (March 4).
4 In class on March 4th, I will teach you how to correctly address the envelope (and I will provide an envelope if you don’t have one).
5. Leave the addressed, stamped envelope (with the letter signed inside) with me, and I will drop them all in the mail on my way home. If you don’t get it signed and printed by March 4th, you can turn it in on Friday March 5th which is the last day I accept extra credit this quarter.
